Deacon Ministry

Tompkins Baptist Church currently has twenty active Deacons. They each have a group of families that combine to make up the membership of the Church. It is the responsibility of each Deacon to keep in contact with their families and serve them. Whether it be prayer requests, phone calls, visits or letters, each Deacon is serving their families. The Deacon at Tompkins is an extremely important role. They reach out to their families and ensure their needs are being met. The Deacons meet weekly to ensure we communicate any needs. We meet together, we pray together, and we are here to support our Church Family.
