We are excited to announce that Tompkins Awana will begin on September 16,
2020!! We will be following CDC and State guidelines for Covid-19. Once
any new guidelines are posted on 08/31, we will finalize our list of
guidelines to be passed to the parents! You will find the registration form
to print and bring with you on that day. All children in a household may be
listed on the same sheet. Anyone that was at the 2020 awards ceremony, you
filled out a form that night. If you are willing to help out in Awana, we
can always use fill-in people for unexpected misses by our teachers.

We have a phenomenal staff that work weekly with your children, teaching
them God's Word! Each week your child will be sent home a Bible verse to
learn for that week. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to help your child learn
their verse, learn it as a family! Hiding God's Word in your child's heart
is one of the most important things you can do as a parent! Your child can
earn points to use in the Awana store by coming to club, participating in
theme nights, bringing their Bible, bringing a friend AND learning their
verse! We do award any child who has learned their verses on different
levels at the end of the Awana year. This year we have adjusted those
levels. Awards will be presented for the following:

PUGGLES (1-2 year old) - 5 or more verses learned a medal is earned. ALL
verses learned a medal and a trophy is earned.
CUBBIES (3-4 years old) - 12 or more verses learned a medal is earned. ALL
verses learned a medal and a trophy is earned.
SPARKS (K - 2nd Grade) - 15 or more verses learned a medal is earned. ALL
verses learned a medal and a trophy is earned.
T&T (3rd - 6th) - 15 or more verses learned a medal is earned. ALL verses
learned a medal and a trophy is earned.

High points winners in each category are awarded and the child with the
highest total points for the entire club is awarded.

We LOVE rewarding your child for working hard to learn their verses and in
turn, they are hiding God's precious Word in their hearts!

Pray for our Awana Club this year as we will have to change with the
ever-changing guidelines set before us. Please know that we will do all
that we can to keep your child as safe as possible.
